The MOOG Problem Solver outer tie rod end is engineered to restore steering precision and address common OE design weaknesses. Featuring a patented greaseable Gusher Bearing, this metal-to-metal design allows lubricant to penetrate the bearing surfaces, significantly reducing friction and extending service life compared to non-serviceable units.
- Gusher Bearing Technology: Metal-to-metal design provides superior strength and allows grease to flow through the bearing surface for reduced friction.
- Greaseable Socket: Integrated grease fitting allows for fresh lubricant to flush out contaminants and moisture, preventing internal corrosion.
- Heat-Treated Ball Studs: Hardened studs meet or exceed OE requirements to improve fatigue strength and prevent premature failure.
- Internal Tensioning: A Belleville preload washer maintains a tight bearing package even as components wear, minimizing steering looseness.
