The BAKFlip MX4 (GEN 3) is the next evolution of the industry's most popular hard folding truck bed cover. This generation features high-density polymer-reinforced aluminum panels that are 22% stronger than the original design, providing a 400-lb evenly distributed weight capacity. The matte black textured finish offers a sleek, low-profile look that sits flush with your truck's bed rails while providing superior resistance to UV damage, scratches, and fingerprints.
Security and weather protection are at the core of the MX4 design. The patented auto-latching system secures the cover automatically as each panel is closed, and the re-engineered lock components offer increased resistance to forced entry. To keep your cargo dry, the cover utilizes revised EPDM rubber perimeter seals and tight-fit clamps, complemented by an integrated water drainage system. The extra-long dual-action tailgate seal allows you to close the tailgate regardless of whether the cover is open or closed, maintaining full factory functionality.
