The ACT ATK73 alignment tool is a critical component for a successful clutch installation. It is specifically designed to correctly align the clutch disc with the pilot bearing before the pressure plate is torqued down. This precision centering ensures the transmission input shaft slides into the clutch disc splines without resistance, preventing damage to the disc or transmission during assembly.
