The ARP 901-8150 Tapered Piston Ring Compressor is a precision engine building tool designed to streamline piston installation while protecting rings from damage. Unlike generic adjustable compressors, this fixed-diameter tool features a true radius taper that gradually and evenly compresses the rings as the piston moves into the bore.
Each compressor is CNC-machined from high-strength 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type III hard-anodized coating.
