The BD Diesel Stage 4 Master Build-It Rebuild Kit provides the same heavy-duty components used in BD’s own high-performance transmissions. This comprehensive kit is engineered to solve common 68RFE failure points by increasing clutch capacity and hydraulic apply pressure. It includes durable QT100 pressure plates that allow for increased clutch counts while reducing deflection and distortion within the clutch drum. For maximum rigidity, the kit features stiffer billet intermediate and Overdrive/Reverse reaction plates.

The included ProTect68 Pressure Control module dynamically adjusts hydraulic apply pressures based on engine load and turbo boost, delivering up to 250 psi at full throttle—an 80% increase over the stock unit. This increase in pressure, combined with a 17% increase in Overdrive clutch capacity and a 20% increase in Underdrive capacity, ensures reliable torque holding for towing and performance applications.
