The ATS Diesel Ported Compressor Housing with 4-inch boot is designed to resolve the common compressor surge and "turbo bark" issues frequently encountered in 1999-2003 Ford Super Duty and Excursion models. This upgrade replaces the restrictive factory housing with a ported shroud design that moves the surge line, allowing the turbocharger to breathe more efficiently under heavy load and high-boost conditions.
Constructed for precise fitment, this kit improves airflow and provides smoother power delivery while protecting the turbocharger's internal components from the stress of surge. The included 4-inch intake boot ensures a secure, leak-free connection to your intake system.
