Unlike standard cork or paper gaskets that are prone to crushing and degradation, this kit (C4691) utilizes a soft durometer rubber molded around a rigid steel torque-limiting frame. This internal steel core prevents the gasket from being over-tightened or squeezed out of place during installation, ensuring a consistent and reliable seal even under high vacuum or pressure.
Built to withstand the rigors of high-performance environments, the rubber and steel combination is highly resistant to blowing out and provides a dependable solution for engines that require frequent valve cover removal for maintenance.
