The COMP Cams Hemi Phaser Lock Kit is designed to properly lock out the variable valve timing (VVT) system on Chrysler HEMI engines. This is a critical step when installing high-performance aftermarket camshafts that require fixed valve timing to prevent piston-to-valve clearance issues. By eliminating the phaser's range of movement, this kit provides the timing stability necessary for aggressive cam profiles and precise engine tuning.
