Unlike standard rubber seals that can become brittle and fail under the extreme thermal stress of a turbocharged engine, these seals are manufactured from high-grade Viton. This material offers superior resistance to heat and chemical degradation, ensuring a long-lasting seal against the valve stem.
Replacing worn valve stem seals with GSC Viton components solves common oil consumption issues, such as blue smoke during cold starts or after idling. These 6mm seals are precision-engineered to maintain the necessary oil film on the valve stem while preventing excess oil from leaking into the intake and exhaust ports.
