These GSC Power-Division exhaust valve stem seals are manufactured from high-grade Viton fluoroelastomer to provide superior heat resistance compared to standard rubber seals. In high-performance and turbocharged applications, exhaust valve stems reach extreme temperatures that can cause lesser materials to harden and crack. Replacing worn seals with these Viton components ensures a tight seal against the valve stem, preventing oil from leaking into the combustion chamber and reducing oil consumption and blue exhaust smoke.
