These Supertech exhaust valves are engineered specifically for the extreme thermal environments found in the BMW N54B30A twin-turbo engine. By utilizing a sodium-filled hollow stem, these valves provide significantly improved heat dissipation compared to traditional solid stem designs. This process pulls heat away from the valve head and transfers it through the stem into the cylinder head cooling jackets, reducing the risk of detonation and valve failure in high-boost or track-driven applications.
Forged from Inconel, a specialized nickel-based superalloy, these valves are designed to maintain their structural integrity and resist oxidation at temperatures where standard stainless steel might soften. This set provides a complete replacement for the exhaust side of the N54 cylinder head.
