These valves feature a +1mm oversize head diameter, providing the increased surface area necessary to maximize induction flow in high-performance and racing applications. Each valve is treated with a specialized black nitriding process, which produces a smoother surface finish and a harder outer layer (micro-hardness) than traditional chrome plating. This treatment significantly reduces friction in the valve guides and improves heat resistance during high-RPM operation.
