The Takeda Mid-Pipe Exhaust System by aFe Power is engineered to optimize exhaust flow and improve performance across the power band for the Honda Accord V6. This system replaces restrictive factory piping with 2.5-inch mandrel-bent 304 stainless steel tubing, providing a more aggressive tone while maintaining durability. In testing, this mid-pipe produced an additional 2 horsepower and 3 lb-ft of torque when combined with the Takeda Axle-Back Exhaust System (P/N 49-36607).
Built for a precise fit and longevity, the system is TIG-welded and features a brushed finish. To ensure a refined driving experience, aFe integrated a 4-inch diameter 304 stainless steel resonator that maximizes flow while effectively eliminating exhaust drone. This mid-pipe is a direct bolt-on upgrade, utilizing OE-style flanges and factory hanger locations for a hassle-free installation without the need for vehicle modifications.
