The Borla 60747 SwitchFire Universal X-Pipe is a versatile component engineered for custom high-performance exhaust systems. By utilizing hydroforming in the manufacturing process, Borla achieved a significantly lower profile than conventional X-pipes, making it ideal for vehicles with limited ground clearance or tight chassis packaging. This patented design completely eliminates the turbulent center intersection of standard X-pipes, effectively blending combustion pulses from both cylinder banks for improved scavenging and an aggressive, refined exhaust note.
Built from premium T-304 austenitic stainless steel, this unit offers superior corrosion resistance and durability compared to 400-series alternatives. The reversible design provides maximum installation flexibility, while the mandrel-bent tubing ensures unrestricted flow. Precision CNC manufacturing guarantees accurate fitment and structural integrity, backed by Borla's Million-Mile Warranty.
