This ACL High Performance rod bearing set is engineered for demanding engine builds that require precise tolerances and increased oiling capabilities. Designed for the VR6 and V6 platforms, these bearings feature the "HX" extra oil clearance specification, providing an additional 0.025mm (0.001") of clearance compared to standard bearings. This extra room allows for a thicker oil film, reducing the risk of metal-to-metal contact during high-RPM operation or under heavy thermal loads.
Constructed with a tri-metal design, these bearings offer superior fatigue strength and embeddability, making them a critical upgrade for turbocharged or high-output naturally aspirated engines. This set replaces worn OE bearings and is designed to fit standard-size crankshaft journals.
