The ACT T1R-S05 Mod-Twin 225 HD Sprung Race Kit is engineered specifically for high-powered AWD applications requiring aggressive launches and rapid shifting. This modular clutch system features two 225mm ceramic friction surfaces and an ultra-durable Mono-Drive sprung hub assembly designed to handle up to 895 ft/lbs of torque. Please note: This kit is designed for track and competition applications and is not for street use.
Each kit utilizes a diaphragm spring that undergoes a proprietary four-stage heat-treating process to ensure a consistent, light pedal feel without sacrificing clamping force. The puck-style ceramic friction plates offer a high friction coefficient and superior heat capacity for extended life under racing conditions. The Mono-Drive hub assembly helps protect the transmission by reducing driveline shock and torsional vibration. This system is fully rebuildable, with individual components available separately for long-term serviceability.
