The ACT ZX5-XTSS clutch kit is engineered for high-performance street use, featuring an Xtreme pressure plate paired with a Performance Street Sprung disc. This combination provides a significant increase in clamp load and torque capacity while maintaining the smooth engagement required for daily driving. The Xtreme pressure plate utilizes a proprietary diaphragm design that undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process to ensure consistent pedal feel and maximum service life.
The included Performance Street disc is constructed with premium organic friction materials containing high copper content for superior heat dissipation. Steel-backed linings offer increased burst strength, and a reduced marcel design enables quicker, more precise gear changes. This sprung-hub kit reduces drivetrain vibration and noise for a balance of durability and drivability.
