The ACT XACT Prolite Flywheel (MPN 600521) is engineered to dramatically improve engine response and acceleration by reducing rotational inertia. Designed primarily for race use, this flywheel features a one-piece forged construction that eliminates common failure points like warped inserts or loose ring gears. Each unit is CNC machined from heat-treated chromoly steel and dynamically computer balanced to ensure smooth operation at high RPMs.
- One-piece forged steel construction for maximum toughness and heat transfer
- Induction-hardened ring gears for extended service life
- Heat-treated forging provides superior strength over cast alternatives
