The ACT ZX4-XTG6 XT/Race Sprung 6-Pad Clutch Kit is engineered for high-torque applications where fast shifting and heat management are critical. The Xtreme (XT) pressure plate utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design that undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process to maximize clamp load, reduce deflection, and extend clutch life. Precision cover stampings ensure the rigidity and consistency required for aggressive driving.
The included 6-pad spring-centered race disc is designed to absorb high heat and properly damp torsional vibrations. It features wraparound spring windows and thickened retainer stampings to eliminate stress concentrations and resist failure under harsh track conditions. This setup provides the rapid engagement needed for competitive use, though it is noticeably harsher than standard street kits.
