The ACT ZM10-HDSS clutch kit combines a Heavy Duty pressure plate with a Performance Street sprung disc to deliver a significant increase in torque capacity without sacrificing street driveability. The Heavy Duty pressure plate features a proprietary diaphragm design that increases clamp load while reducing deflection, ensuring consistent pedal feel and maximized clutch life. All ACT diaphragms undergo a rigorous four-stage heat-treating process to maintain performance under high-stress conditions.
The included Performance Street disc is engineered for fast shifts and thermal management, utilizing premium organic materials with high copper content for superior heat transfer. Steel-backed linings provide increased burst strength, while the reduced marcel design allows for quicker engagement to complement the pressure plate's precision cover stampings and rigidity.
