The ACT MZ010XX MaXX Xtreme pressure plate is engineered for high-performance and racing applications where maximum clamping force is required. This pressure plate utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design that increases clamp load by 70 to 150 percent compared to the original equipment, significantly reducing deflection and maximizing clutch life. Due to the high clamp load, ACT recommends pairing MaXX Xtreme pressure plates with a race disc.

To ensure long-term performance under high-heat conditions, the diaphragms undergo a proprietary four-stage heat-treating process.
