The ACT ZX6-HDSS clutch kit combines the popular Heavy Duty pressure plate with a Performance Street Sprung disc to provide a significant increase in clamp load and torque capacity without sacrificing drivability. The pressure plate utilizes an exclusive four-stage heat-treated diaphragm design to maximize clutch life and reduce pedal deflection, while the precision-stamped cover ensures consistent engagement and rigidity.
The included Performance Street Sprung disc is engineered with premium organic friction materials and high copper content for superior heat transfer. This disc features a steel-backed lining for increased burst strength and a reduced marcel for faster shift action. To ensure long-term reliability in pull-type clutch systems, this kit also includes the ACT Monoloc collar, a one-piece hardened chrome-moly steel upgrade that replaces the factory two-piece wedge collar.
