The ACT PB1005 pilot bearing is a critical drivetrain component designed to support the end of the transmission input shaft. Depending on the specific vehicle application, this component is precision-fitted into either the end of the crankshaft or the center of the flywheel. By maintaining proper input shaft alignment, it prevents excessive vibration and helps ensure smooth, consistent clutch engagement and disengagement.
