The SB9-HDG6 kit includes a Heavy Duty pressure plate featuring an exclusive heat-treated diaphragm design. This four-stage heat-treating process increases clamp load while reducing deflection for consistent pedal feel and maximized clutch life. Precision cover stampings ensure the rigidity needed for aggressive driving conditions.

The 6-pad spring-centered race disc is built with a spring-center construction that effectively damps torsional vibrations. The design utilizes wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings to increase strength and reliability under harsh stress. While engagement is significantly harsher than a street-spec disc, the reduced mass allows for much faster gear changes.

This kit also features the Monoloc collar, a one-piece hardened Chrome-moly steel upgrade to the standard two-piece wedge collar. It provides uniform loading on the release bearing to ensure proper alignment and service life in pull-type clutch systems.
