The ACT 884006P Monoloc is a high-performance, one-piece upgrade designed to replace the standard two-piece wedge collar and wire ring found in pull-type clutch systems. In high-RPM or heavy-duty applications, the factory two-piece design can separate or fail, leading to inconsistent release and potential damage. The Monoloc eliminates this weakness with a single-piece design that ensures uniform loading on the bearing and pressure plate for precise alignment.
Forged from hardened chrome-moly steel, this collar provides exceptional durability and a long service life. The spring tension of the segmented retaining ring is specifically engineered and tested to maintain optimal performance even under the stress of vehicle modifications and aggressive driving.
