This kit centers around ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate, which utilizes a proprietary diaphragm design and a four-stage heat-treating process to maximize clamp load while reducing pedal deflection. Precision cover stampings ensure the assembly remains rigid and consistent under load, extending overall clutch life.
Paired with the HD pressure plate is a 6-pad rigid race disc. Constructed with high-quality ceramic friction materials and a heat-treated chrome-moly hub, this lightweight disc is designed for durability and heat absorption. While the rigid hub provides harsher engagement compared to a sprung street disc, it enables significantly faster shifts and reliable service in demanding racing environments.
