The ACT DN3-HDG6 clutch kit is engineered for high-performance applications, featuring the popular Heavy Duty pressure plate and a 6-pad spring-centered race disc. The pressure plate utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design that undergoes a rigorous four-stage heat-treating process, ensuring increased clamp load and reduced deflection for maximum clutch life. Precision cover stampings provide the rigidity and consistency required for aggressive driving.
The 6-pad race disc is designed for faster shifting and superior heat absorption in larger clutch sizes. It features a spring-centered hub to dampen torsional vibrations and resist failure under harsh conditions. To improve durability, ACT uses wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings, reducing stress concentrations while increasing overall strength and reliability.
