The ACT MB018X Xtreme clutch pressure plate is engineered for high-performance applications, offering a significant clamp load increase of 50% to 120% over factory specifications. To ensure durability and consistent pedal feel, every diaphragm undergoes a specialized four-stage heat-treating process. The precision-stamped cover provides the rigidity required to minimize deflection and maximize total clutch life.
This pressure plate includes the Monoloc, a one-piece hardened chrome-moly steel upgrade that replaces the standard two-piece wedge collar and wire ring found in pull-type clutches. The Monoloc ensures uniform loading on the release bearing and maintains proper alignment, even under aggressive driving or high-RPM shifts. The MB018X is compatible with both street and race-spec clutch discs.
