The ACT MR1-HDG6 clutch kit is engineered for high-performance applications requiring rapid shifting and increased heat capacity. This kit pairs ACT's Heavy Duty pressure plate with a 6-pad, spring-centered race disc. The pressure plate utilizes an exclusive four-stage heat-treated diaphragm and precision cover stampings to maximize clamp load, reduce deflection, and maintain consistent pedal feel. While the 6-pad disc provides harsher engagement than street kits, it allows for significantly faster gear changes and resists failure under aggressive driving conditions.
