The ACT 6 Pad Sprung Race Disc is engineered for high-horsepower street and competitive racing applications. This disc features premium ceramic friction materials that provide high heat tolerance and moderate wear rates, allowing it to hold 28% more torque than standard organic materials. Designed for aggressive engagement and rapid shifts, it is a critical upgrade for vehicles pushed to their thermal limits.
To ensure long-term reliability under stress, this race disc utilizes wraparound spring windows and thicker retainer stampings. The drive plate is constructed from heat-treated spring steel to reduce stress concentrations and provide a high burst strength. Please note that while the sprung hub helps dampen vibrations, some mild to moderate gear rattle may occur during operation.
