The ACT SB10-HDR6 Heavy Duty Race Rigid 6-Pad Clutch Kit is designed for high-performance applications where rapid shift speeds and thermal capacity are the primary requirements. This kit features ACT’s Heavy Duty pressure plate, which utilizes a specialized diaphragm design and a four-stage heat-treating process to increase clamp load and minimize deflection. The precision-stamped cover ensures the rigidity and consistency needed for hard driving.

The included 6-pad rigid race disc is built with premium ceramic friction materials and a heat-treated chrome-moly hub for maximum strength. The lightweight, rigid design eliminates the cushioning of a street disc to allow for significantly faster shifts, though it does result in harsher engagement. This configuration is ideal for larger clutch sizes that must absorb and dissipate high levels of heat.

To ensure long-term reliability, the kit includes the ACT Monoloc collar. This one-piece hardened chrome-moly steel component replaces the standard two-piece wedge collar found in pull-type clutches, providing uniform loading on the bearing and maintaining proper alignment under high stress.
