The ACT ME3-HDG6 kit is engineered for high-performance applications, featuring the Heavy Duty pressure plate designed to increase clamp load and reduce deflection. This pressure plate utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design that undergoes a four-stage heat-treating process for consistent performance, supported by precision cover stampings that provide maximum rigidity.
For faster shifting and high-heat capacity, the kit includes a 6-pad spring-centered race disc. The spring-center construction damps torsional vibrations, while the wraparound spring windows and thickened retainer stampings increase durability under high-stress racing conditions. To ensure reliable release, this kit includes the ACT Monoloc collar—a one-piece, hardened Chrome-moly steel upgrade that replaces the factory two-piece wedge collar to prevent bearing separation.
