The ACT NZ2-HDG6 Heavy Duty Race clutch kit is designed for high-performance applications where rapid shifting and superior heat capacity are required. This kit features ACT’s Heavy Duty pressure plate, which utilizes an exclusive diaphragm design to increase clamp load, reduce deflection, and maximize service life. Each diaphragm undergoes a specialized four-stage heat-treating process to ensure consistent performance under extreme operating temperatures.

The included 6-pad, spring-centered race disc is engineered to damp torsional vibrations while resisting failure in harsh racing environments. Built with wraparound spring windows and thick retainer stampings, this disc provides enhanced support and reduced stress concentrations. While the 6-pad design allows for faster shifting and higher heat absorption, be aware that clutch engagement will be significantly harsher than a standard street disc.
