The AEM 21-698C Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to increase horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This system features mandrel-bent aluminum intake tubing with a durable black powder-coated finish, designed to optimize airflow while maintaining a sleek under-hood appearance. The intake is developed to accommodate factory emissions control devices, including the mass air flow (MAF) sensor, wastegate solenoid, and valve cover breather hose.
The heart of this system is an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic washable air filter. This oil-free filter media provides excellent filtration and can last up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required, depending on driving conditions. The filter is housed within a replacement air box featuring a logo-embossed aluminum lid, specifically designed to reduce intake air temperatures for improved combustion efficiency.
