The AEM 21-803C Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to reduce intake restriction and improve throttle response by replacing the factory air box and paper filter. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube with a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish, designed to maintain smooth, laminar airflow to the turbocharger. The included heat shield installs into the original air box space to help isolate the intake air from engine bay heat.
The system utilizes an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter, which offers high-capacity filtration and airflow without the need for oiling. This oil-free design simplifies maintenance and ensures the mass airflow (MAF) sensor remains uncontaminated. This intake is a direct-fit upgrade that accommodates all factory emissions control devices, including the MAF sensor and PCV lines.
