The AEM 21-846C Performance Air Intake System is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air housing, providing a more efficient path for airflow to reach your engine. By relocating the filter to draw in cooler outside air, this system improves combustion efficiency for enhanced throttle response and engine performance. The intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum with a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish, ensuring consistent pipe diameter through every bend for maximum flow velocity.

This system includes a custom-shaped heat shield with edge trim lining to isolate the intake charge from radiant engine bay heat. At the heart of the kit is a cone-shaped AEM Dryflow air filter made from oil-free, synthetic media. This washable and reusable filter provides excellent filtration and can be used for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required, depending on driving conditions.
