The AEM 21-793C Performance Cold Air Intake System is engineered to increase horsepower and torque by replacing the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This system features a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube with a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish, ensuring smooth airflow and a professional under-hood appearance. To combat power-robbing engine heat, a custom-designed heat shield is included to isolate the air filter from high engine bay temperatures.
At the heart of this system is an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter. This oil-free, washable media provides exceptional filtration and can go up to 100,000 miles between cleanings under normal driving conditions. The system is designed to accommodate factory emissions equipment, including the mass air flow (MAF) sensor and engine vent hose, for a straightforward bolt-on installation.
