Fits 1992-2000 Honda Civic and 1993-1997 Honda Civic del Sol (DX, LX, EX, Si, S, VTEC).
The AEM 22-401R Performance Short Ram Air Intake System is a direct-fit upgrade designed to replace the restrictive factory air filter and intake housing. This system utilizes a mandrel-bent aluminum intake tube to provide a smooth, low-restriction path for incoming air, improving throttle response and engine resonance under acceleration. The tubing is finished in a durable red powder coating for heat resistance and engine bay aesthetics.
Filtration is handled by an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter. This oil-free, washable media provides excellent airflow while protecting the engine from contaminants for up to 100,000 miles between cleanings. The system is engineered to accommodate all factory emissions control devices, including the engine breather hose, vacuum lines, and intake air temperature (IAT) sensor where applicable.
