The AEM 21-873C Performance Air Intake System is engineered to replace the restrictive factory intake housing, allowing your engine to breathe more efficiently. This system is designed, tuned, and dyno-tested to improve horsepower and torque by delivering a higher volume of cool, dense air to the turbocharger. The intake tube is constructed from mandrel-bent aluminum for smooth internal airflow and features a durable gunmetal gray powder-coated finish. A custom-shaped heat shield with an integrated lid is included to isolate the air filter from high engine compartment temperatures.
This system utilizes an oversized AEM Dryflow synthetic air filter. The tapered cylinder-shaped media is oil-free and washable, providing outstanding filtration and performance for up to 100,000 miles before cleaning is required (depending on driving conditions).
