The AEM 21-807C Cold Air Intake System is engineered to replace the restrictive factory air filter and airbox to improve airflow and engine efficiency. At the core of this system is an oversized, oval-shaped AEM DryFlow filter. This oil-free, synthetic filter media is designed to provide excellent filtration while allowing for service intervals of up to 100,000 miles under normal driving conditions.
This system features a custom heat shield designed to integrate with the factory engine cover, utilizing the cover itself as the top of the airbox. A provided rubber edge trim creates a secure seal between the shield and the engine cover to help isolate the intake air from high engine bay temperatures. The kit includes all necessary mounting hardware for a straightforward installation.
