The aFe Momentum GT cold air intake system is engineered to maximize airflow and performance for the Ford Ranger Raptor. At the heart of this system is the Pro 5R air filter, a 360-degree radial flow unit featuring five layers of progressively finer pre-oiled cotton gauze media. This design provides maximum flow for street and track use, while the inverted top increases total filter surface area for extended service intervals.
This system uses a one-piece sealed housing made from heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) to protect the intake charge from engine bay heat soak. The housing includes a built-in clear sight window for quick filter inspections and utilizes the factory air inlet scoop to ensure a steady supply of cool, dense air. The CAD-designed, dyno-tuned XLPE intake tubes are paired with premium silicone couplings and stainless-steel clamps to provide a secure, leak-free installation using factory mounting points.
