This system uses a computer-designed XLPE roto-molded intake tube that resists heat soak and provides a smooth transition for incoming air. Because 2024+ 2.0L Jeep models feature a factory plumb-back (recirculation) valve permanently integrated into the OE intake tract, this aFe POWER system is designed to retain the factory tube. This ensures seamless compatibility with the turbocharger system while simplifying the installation process. The 18-gauge steel heat shield is finished in a wrinkle-black powder coat and mounts directly to the lower half of the factory airbox to isolate the filter from engine bay heat.
