The aFe Magnum FORCE Stage-2 Pro 5R cold air intake system is engineered to maximize airflow and engine performance. This system centers around a 9-inch tall, 360-degree radial flow air filter featuring aFe's Pro 5R media. Constructed with five layers of progressively finer oiled cotton gauze, the Pro 5R media provides the highest possible airflow for street use. An inverted filter top increases the total surface area, allowing for extended service intervals.
The filter is encased in a massive, open-element XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) housing. This durable, heat-soak resistant polymer minimizes warm engine bay air intake while providing an aggressive induction sound. The system features a computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube and a patent-pending filter-to-housing interface that simplifies installation by using half the hardware of traditional intakes. This is a direct-fit kit that utilizes factory mounting points and the OE air inlet with no cutting or modifications required.
