The aFe Momentum GT Pro 5R Cold Air Intake System is engineered to maximize airflow and filtration for the Ford 5.0L engine. This system features a one-piece, heat-resistant cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) housing with a patent-pending filter-to-housing interface that simplifies installation. A clear sight window allows for quick filter inspections without disassembling the unit. The housing integrates directly with the factory air inlet scoop and includes a silicone seal to block out hot engine bay air, ensuring a cooler, denser intake charge.
At the core of this system is a 9-inch tall Pro 5R air filter. This 360-degree radial flow filter uses five layers of progressively finer cotton gauze media to provide maximum flow and protection. The inverted top design increases overall surface area, extending service intervals for street performance. The computer-designed, dyno-tuned XLPE intake tube is built to maintain a precise fit while resisting heat soak.
