The aFe POWER Quantum Cold Air Intake System (MPN 53-10003D) represents a significant advancement in airflow engineering for the 6.7L Powerstroke engine. Utilizing a patent-pending filter-to-housing interface, this system simplifies installation while ensuring a secure seal. The CAD-designed intake tube is constructed from heat-resistant XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) and roto-molded for optimum airflow efficiency and durability. The injection-molded housing base features a built-in 3-angle velocity stack to smooth air entry into the intake tract.
Equipped with the Pro DRY S air filter, this system provides convenience and performance without the need for filter oil. The three-layer synthetic media is washable and reusable, offering high filtration efficiency and maximum flow. Every component, from the high-quality stainless steel clamps to the flexible silicone bellows coupling, is engineered for a precise, factory-style fit that out-flows stock induction systems.
