The system features a 7" tall Pro 5R conical air filter utilizing five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media. This oiled media provides maximum airflow and performance for street and track use. The intake tube is constructed from heat-soak resistant Cross-Linked Polyethylene (XLPE) for extreme durability. Installation is straightforward, utilizing a one-piece 18-gauge steel wrinkle-black powder-coated heat shield that mounts directly to the lower half of the factory airbox without cutting or drilling.
