The aFe Takeda Stage-2 Cold Air Intake System is designed to provide your Civic with the highest possible airflow for improved performance. This system replaces the restrictive factory air box with an open-element housing that seals against the hood when closed, effectively isolating the intake from hot engine bay air. The housing is constructed from cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) to resist impact and extreme temperatures, ensuring long-term durability and performance.

This system features a 7-inch tall 360-degree radial flow air filter with a 3-1/2 inch flange. The Pro 5R media utilizes five layers of progressively finer, pre-oiled cotton gauze to achieve maximum flow and filtration. With its inverted top design for increased surface area, this filter allows the system to outflow the factory intake by 52%, delivering a measured 365 CFM at 7 inches of water.
