The aFe Takeda Momentum GT Pro 5R cold air intake system is engineered to optimize airflow and lower intake temperatures for the turbocharged Lexus IS. This system features a custom CAD-designed, roto-molded housing made from high-temperature cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) to isolate the intake charge from engine bay heat. A large, built-in clear sight window allows for quick filter inspections without disassembling the airbox.
Air is directed through a dyno-tuned, roto-molded intake tube designed for maximum power gains and a precise fit. Filtration is handled by a massive 7.5-inch tall Pro 5R performance air filter. This 360-degree radial flow filter utilizes five layers of progressively finer mesh cotton gauze media, pre-oiled to provide maximum airflow and protection. The system secures with premium stainless steel worm-gear clamps and a reinforced silicone coupling for a durable, leak-free installation that requires no cutting or drilling of factory parts.
