The aFe Takeda Momentum Pro DRY S intake system is engineered to optimize airflow and protection for the Subaru Crosstrek's boxer engine. This system features a custom-designed, sealed XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) housing that shields the intake from engine bay heat soak. The housing includes a clear sight window for quick filter inspections and utilizes the factory air inlet scoop to bring in additional cool air.
At the heart of the system is a 7-1/2 inch tall Pro DRY S air filter. This oil-free, 360-degree radial flow filter utilizes three layers of synthetic media for excellent filtration efficiency and maintenance convenience. To ensure a smooth driving experience, a factory-style Helmholtz Chamber is integrated into the two-piece roto-molded intake tube to minimize cabin drone. The patent-pending filter-to-housing interface reduces hardware complexity for a simplified installation process.
