The aFe Takeda Momentum Cold Air Intake System is engineered to maximize airflow while maintaining superior filtration for the Mazda 2.5L Turbo engine. This system features a sealed, heat-resistant XLPE housing that shields the intake air from engine bay heat soak. A built-in clear sight window allows for quick filter inspections without disassembling the housing, while the patent-pending filter-to-housing interface reduces component count for a simplified installation. The computer-designed, dyno-tuned intake tube ensures optimized flow and a perfect fit.
At the core of this system is the Pro DRY S performance air filter. Standing 7-1/2” tall, this oil-free, 360-degree conical filter uses three layers of progressive synthetic media to provide high filtration efficiency and dust-holding capacity without the need for recharge oils. It is an ideal choice for street and light off-road use, offering maximum convenience and easy maintenance.
- Vehicle Protection: Durable XLPE (cross-linked polyethylene) polymer housing resists heat soak and impact.
- Pro DRY S Filter: 3-layer oil-free synthetic media, 7.5 inches tall, washable and reusable.
